Flashback to the USA days

Caleb is not a baby anymore! According to his birthday counter on my igoogle homepage, only 1 month and 17 days left until Caleb turns one! (setup your own igoogle homepage here: http://www.google.com/ig) Wow! Time has really flown by fast.
This past week, Amp and I ventured out into the neighborhood surrounding Sai Sampon to evangelize. I explained to him that, unlike evangelism in America, we go out and talk to others about Jesus without receiving angry or rude responses in return. We only made it part way down the first street when we were welcomed in by an older gentleman and his wife. Amp and I refered to him as "uncle," (Khun Lueng) and we enjoyed our visit with him. At one point, Khun Lueng said "all religions teach people to be good." This is a very common response by the Thais, and we could have finished his sentence for him. Khun Lueng was sharper than most, as he quickly added "and those people who do bad things for their religion are being taught incorrectly." Khun Lueng has a nice home filled with lots of memories- as well as some six television sets. He doesn't lack for anything materially. When we spoke of Jesus, he was quick to say that he believed everything! (this of course includes other religions he has learned from) Amp and I have an open door to return to Khun Lueng's home, and we hope to do so in order to see the Word of God opened and taught there.
